Dr. Neal Lovett

Dr. Neal Lovett is a native of Hazlehurst, Georgia and graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1999.  He attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and received his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2007.  While at UAB, Dr. Lovett was taught by some of the leading optometrists in the nation in the areas of ocular disease, glaucoma, pediatrics, and contact lenses.  He was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key International Optometric Honor Societies.  Upon completing his education, he returned to southern Georgia, and after practicing for several years, opened Vision Source Baxley in 2013.  Dr. Lovett is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.  He is member of the Baxley Kiwanis Club and a 2018 alumnus of the Appling Leads program.  He is a musician active in his local church and also enjoys fishing and gardening.  Dr. Lovett’s goal is to provide patients with the best vision possible through compassionate and expert care.  At Vision Source Baxley, you will find professional care and exceptional personal service.
